More than 30 groups participated in the Tat Cult Fest

It is a presentation of a layer of creative people united by the concepts of new Tatar culture.

As part of the celebration of the Day of Kazan and the republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Kremlin hosted the new Tatar culture festival Tat Cult Fest on August 30. It was attended by more than 30 groups of performers of different musical styles.

The choreographic stage hosted dance workshops, the performance “Architecture makes you dance” and the interactive performance “Dance class”, where eight dancers and eight musicians improvised, interacting with each other in random combinations that were determined by the audience by pressing a button near the stage.

Special attention was paid to art objects. Ten artists presented their works. Each art object was associated with a specific event that was held in Kazan over the past 100 years.

Food courts with presentations of national dishes prepared using creative ideas and adapted to modern gastronomic culture, recreation areas with master classes, animation, various attractions, and exhibition galleries of modern art also worked during the festival. Children's entertainment areas with role-playing games based on Tatar folklore and folk tales, musical quests “musical kaleidoscope” welcomed young visitors.

Tat Cult Fest is a presentation of a layer of creative people united by the concepts of new Tatar culture or modern Tatar culture and art. This is a demonstration of samples of Tatar art, which was transformed under the influence of world culture. The Tat Cult Fest project has a multicultural format. During music festivals, several venues are presented: fusion music, rock music, electronic music, and folk music. Along with music, there are theater, literary and poetic platforms.
