Volunteers to deliver food and medicine to elderly people living alone and those who are in a difficult life situation.
The “We are together” mutual assistance center has started working in Kazan. On request, volunteers will deliver food and medicine to lonely people over 60, as well as those who are in self-isolation or in a difficult life situation.
Products are purchased on a weekday at the expense of the applicant. Food delivery to an address will be made once a week, so volunteers will only accept compound orders. Volunteers must use personal protective equipment: masks and gloves, as well as keep a social distance of 1.5 meters, the Committee for children and youth affairs reported.
Residents of the city over the age of 18 without chronic respiratory diseases can become volunteers.
